Versbakkerij Verweij is both a producer and seller of bread and pastry products. They now operate a bakery and store in Woerden’s Tournoysveld shopping center, along with locations in Gouda and Bodegraven. With a passion for the craft, their thirty employees are happily ready to serve customers six days a week.

The challenge
Marius Verweij had owned a bakery in Brielle for six years when he took over the business in Woerden in 1996. Years before, he had interned there himself. Now, Marius balances his craft with entrepreneurship and enthusiastically trains young bakers. In 1996, he sought an accounting firm that could fully support him: “As an independent-minded entrepreneur, I wanted a firm where I could submit my bookkeeping in my own way. At Stolp+KAB, then based in Gouda, I found the perfect fit. That was already twenty years ago.”
Our approach
